Idle Mixture: Notes

NOTE: Idle mixture on fuel injected models is controlled electronically and is not adjustable. If mixture is incorrect, check ignition, EGR system, valve clearance, compression, intake manifold for vacuum leak, clogged air filter or for a faulty EFI.

NOTE: Mixture adjustment is not a part of normal tune-up procedure and should not be performed unless carburetor is disassembled or vehicle fails emission testing.
