Transfer Case - Land Cruiser: Description
The transfer case used on Toyota Land Cruiser models equipped with a 4-speed transmission is mounted on back of transmission. Transfer case provides a direct drive high speed and an underdrive low speed to rear axle and to front axle when 4WD is selected. High and low speed as well as 4WD are selected through an auxiliary shifter. See Fig 1.
