System Tests: Starlet

  1. If at high altitude, connect a vacuum gauge to distributor sub-diaphragm hose. Gauge should indicate manifold vacuum and should not change when engine is accelerated.

  2. If at low altitude, perform above test with engine at normal operating temperature. Check that vacuum gauge indicates high manifold vacuum and fluctuates when engine is accelerated.
