NIPPONDENSO Alternators: Overhaul: Testing: Rotor

Check rotor for open field windings using an ohmmeter across the slip rings. Coil resistance should be approximately 4.1-4.3 ohms. Check smoothness of slip rings. Check bearing and replace if necessary.
