Steering Column and Wheel - IP, SC, Upper Gap Hider Assembly - Remove And Replace: Install
- Install the nuts (x2) that attach the upper gap hider to the cross car beam.
15 N.m (11.1 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 3 in extension
- 13 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Torx T20 socket
- 6 in locking extension
- Install the lower gap hider. See STEERING COLUMN AND WHEEL - IP, STEERING COLUMN, SHROUD LOWER SUB - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the lower instrument panel. See DASH PANEL - IP LOWER, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the driver footwell cover. See DASH PANEL - DRIVER FOOTWELL COVER ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the LH instrument panel end cap. See DASH PANEL - END CAP, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the steering column control module. See STEERING COLUMN AND WHEEL - STEERING COLUMN CONTROL MODULE KOSTAL - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the steering column lower shroud. See DASH PANEL - SHROUD, LOWER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the steering column upper shroud. See DASH PANEL - SHROUD, UPPER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the steering wheel. See STEERING COLUMN AND WHEEL - STEERING WHEEL - PUR LEATHER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the driver airbag. See FRONT AIR BAGS - DRIVER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Connect the LV power. See LV Battery - Li-Ion - Disconnect And Connect .
- Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
