Steering Column And Wheel - Steering Wheel Switch - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Disconnect the LV power. See LV BATTERY - LI-ION - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Remove the driver airbag. See FRONT AIR BAGS - DRIVER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the steering wheel. See STEERING COLUMN AND WHEEL - STEERING WHEEL - PUR LEATHER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the steering wheel lower spoker cover. See STEERING COLUMN AND WHEEL - STEERING WHEEL, LOWER SPOKE COVER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Release the harness from the LH steering wheel switch harness bracket.
- Remove the screw that attaches the LH steering wheel switch to the steering wheel.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T8 bit
- Remove the LH steering wheel heater connector from the LH switch harness bracket.
- Remove the screws (x3) that attach the LH steering wheel switch to the steering wheel.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless 1/4 in Dr Ratchet
- Torx T10 socket
- 2 in extension
- Remove the LH switch fixing bracket from the steering wheel.
- Disconnect the LH steering wheel switch connector, and then remove the LH steering wheel switch from the steering wheel.
