Passive Entry - Assembly, Rear Left BLE - Remove And Replace: Install
- Fasten the tabs (x2) that attach the LH rear BLE module to the rear fascia.
- Connect the electrical harness to the LH rear BLE module connector.
- Deflate and remove the inflatable air bag between the LH front section of the rear fascia and the vehicle, and then install the rear fascia back to the vehicle.
- Install the bolt and the U-nut that attach the rear fascia to the vehicle.
2 N.m (1.5 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T25 socket
- 2 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Fasten the clip that attaches the aft lower section of the LH rear wheel arch liner to the vehicle.
- Install the bolt that attaches the rear fascia to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm socket
- 2 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Install the bolt and clips (x3) that attach the LH rear trough trim to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T20 socket
- Torx T20 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect LV power. See LV BATTERY - LI-LON - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Close the trunk.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
- In Toolbox, click the Actions/Autodiag tab, type "Endpoint" in the search field.
- Click on TEST-SELF_VCSEC_X_ENDPOINT-COMM(i) , and then click Run Network and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
- Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See SOFTWARE REINSTALL - TOUCHSCREEN .
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
