Electrical - Electronic Control Modules - Body Controllers - VC USB Assembly - Remove And Replace: Install
- Install the bolts (x4) and datum that attach the USB hub to the center console.
1.1 N.m (.8 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T20 socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect the center console USB hub connector.
- Install the rear end module assembly. See CENTER CONSOLE - REAR END MODULE, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Connect LV battery power. See LV BATTERY - LI-LON - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install LH center console decor trim. See CENTER CONSOLE - HOCKEY STICK, LH, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install LH center console front side panel. See CENTER CONSOLE - CONSOLE SIDE PANEL, CARPET, LH, LHD - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install LH center console rear side panel. See CENTER CONSOLE - REAR SIDE PANEL, LH, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Repeat step 6 through step 8 for the RH side of the vehicle.
- Install the center console rear end panel. See CENTER CONSOLE - CONSOLE REAR END PANEL, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the center console phone dock. See INTERIOR TRIM - CENTER CONSOLE - CENTER CONSOLE - PHONE DOCK - CLIP - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See SOFTWARE REINSTALL - TOUCHSCREEN .
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
- In Toolbox, click the Actions/Autodiag tab, and then type "TEST-SELF_VCUSB_X_HVAC-ACTUATOR" into the search field.
- Click TEST-SELF_VCUSB_X_HVAC-ACTUATOR(i) , click Run , and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
