Actuator - Pedestrian Protection - LH (EMEA) - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH pedestrian protection actuator to the vehicle.

  2. Raise the vehicle. See RAISE VEHICLE - 2 POST LIFT .
  3. Install the clip that attaches the LH pedestrian protection actuator electrical connector to the body.

  4. Connect the LH pedestrian protection actuator electrical connector.

  5. Install the clips (x6) that attach the LH front wheel liner to the vehicle.

  6. Install the LH front wheel. See WHEEL - REMOVE AND INSTALL
  7. Connect LV power. See LV POWER - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
  8. Install the cowl screen washer hose. See HOSE - WASHER - COWL SCREEN - REMOVE AND REPLACE
  9. Install the LH and RH wiper arm. See WIPER ARM - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
  10. Install the LH and RH shock tower cover. See COVER - SHOCK TOWER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  11. Install the LH and RH underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD APRON - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
  12. Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD APRON - REAR - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  13. Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See RAISE VEHICLE - 2 POST LIFT .
