Harness - Front End Module - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Remove the front fascia. See FASCIA - FRONT (REMOVE AND INSTALL)
  4. Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the radar sensor.

  5. Disconnect the electrical harness connectors from the LH and RH front airbag sensors.

  6. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the active grille shutter electrical connector.
    CAUTION: Do not push down on the red tab. Pull the red tab to release the connector lock.

  7. Remove the ambient temperature sensor cover from the active griller shutter, and then disconnect the sensor electrical connector.

  8. Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the hood latch assembly.

  9. Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the hood latch actuator.

  10. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH and RH front end carrier electrical harness connectors.

  11. Release the clips that attach the FEM electrical harness to the front end carrier, and then remove the harness from the front end carrier.
