Wiper Module - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. With the wiper module facing upside down, connect the electrical connector. Afterwards, rotate the wiper module towards the rear of the vehicle to ensure proper harness clearance.
    CAUTION: Check the harness to make sure it is not routed incorrectly.

  2. Carefully push the wiper module towards the rear of the vehicle so that the rubber anchor inserts into the bracket on the bulkhead.

  3. Install the bolts that attach the wiper module to the vehicle.

    7 N.m (5.2 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 2 in extension

  4. Install the cowl screen panel. See PANEL - COWL SCREEN (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Enable Service Mode through the touchscreen. See SERVICE MODE
  6. Perform a software reinstall. See SOFTWARE REINSTALL - TOUCHSCREEN .
  7. Run the Wiper Replacement procedure: on the touch screen, touch Service > Closures > Windows > Wiper replacement  , touch Run  , and allow the routine to complete.

  8. Verify the operation of the windshield washers and wipers.
