Module - ECU - Occupant Classification System (OCS) - Front Passenger - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Move the front passenger seat rearward and to the highest position.
    NOTE: Adjust the seat back to avoid contact with headliner if needed.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  4. Release the LH seat back elastic strap from the seat frame.

  5. Slide the locking tab toward the left of the connector, and then release the OCS sensor mat electrical connector downward to disconnect it from the front passenger seat OCS ECU module.

  6. Slide the locking tab toward the left of the connector, and then release the airbag electrical connector downward to disconnect it from the front passenger seat OCS ECU module.

  7. Press the locking tabs (x2), and then slide the front passenger seat OCS ECU module upward to remove it from the seat bracket.
