Module - Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) - Front - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the front BLE module onto the front fascia T-badge support, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the module to the assembly.

    3 N.m (2.2 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T25 socket

  2. Position the front fascia V-bar onto the front fascia T-badge support, and then secure the clips (x4) that attach the V-bar to the T-badge support.

  3. Install the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia V-bar to the front fascia T-badge support.

    3 N.m (2.2 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T25 socket

  4. Position the front fascia T-badge support assembly onto the front fascia assembly, and then install the screw and secure the tabs (x6) that attach the T-badge support to the front fascia.

    3 N.m (2.2 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T25 socket

  5. Connect the front BLE module electrical connector, and then engage the locking tab.

  6. Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .
  7. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect) .
  8. Click the Actions  tab, and then search for "Service-Redeploy".
  9. Click SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY  , and then click Run  and allow the routine to complete.
    NOTE: Select "X" at top right of window to close once complete. The routine will state pass but the update will continue to run in the background. The UI will show update progress.
  10. In Toolbox, click TEST-SELF_VCSEC_X_ENDPOINT-COMM  , and then click Run Network  and allow the routine to complete.
    NOTE: Click the X at top right of the window to close once complete.
  11. Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect) .
