Center Console Assembly - 1st Row - Remove And Install: Remove
- Open all four doors.
- Lower the LH and RH front windows.
- Move the LH and RH front seats forward.
- Remove the center console lower rear panel. See PANEL - LOWER REAR - CENTER CONSOLE (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH rear console carriers to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 6 in extension
- Cordless 1/4 in Dr. Ratchet
- Socket 1/4 in Dr. 6 pt. Swivel Ball 10 mm
- Move the LH and RH front seats backward.
- Remove the LH front floor mat from the vehicle.
- Remove the driver outboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Outboard - Driver (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the driver inboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Inboard - Driver (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH center console side panel carpet. See CARPET - SIDE PANEL - CENTER CONSOLE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the bolt that attaches the LH center console lower bracket to the instrument panel carrier.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless 1/4 in Hex Driver
- Nutsetter 1/4 in Dr. 6 in. X 10 mm Magnetic Deep
- Remove the RH front floor mat from the vehicle.
- Remove the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the RH center console side panel carpet. See CARPET - SIDE PANEL - CENTER CONSOLE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the bolt that attaches the RH center console lower bracket to the instrument panel carrier.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless 1/4 in Hex Driver
- Nutsetter 1/4 in Dr. 6 in. X 10 mm Magnetic Deep
- Disconnect the 1st row center console assembly connectors (x4).
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pocket screwdriver
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH center console carrier brackets to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless 1/4 in Dr. Ratchet
- Extension 1/4 in Dr. x 10 in
- Socket 1/4 in Dr. 6 pt. Swivel Ball 10 mm
- Recline the LH and RH front seat backrests.
- With assistance, remove the 1st row center console assembly from the vehicle.NOTE: Lift the rear of the console, rotate the front of the console from under the instrument panel, and then remove the console from the vehicle through the passenger door. Take care not to scratch the seats, instrument panel, or the inner door panel.
