Puddle Light - Rear Trunk - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH falcon wing door.
  2. Move the LH monopost seat forward.
  3. Remove the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Remove the side trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Side (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Remove the rear trunk floor NVH insulator. See NVH Insulator - Floor - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Remove the rear trunk carpet. See Carpet - Rear Trunk (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Remove the LH and RH side rear trunk garnish. See Garnish - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  8. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trim - Sill - Trunk (Remove and Replace) .
  9. Remove the rear wall rear trunk trim.
  10. Remove the LH rear trunk crush can trim. See Trim - Crush Can - Rear Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  11. Release the push clip that attaches the LH soft trim pocket bracket to the body, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Clip pry tool

  12. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  13. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  14. Fold the LH 3rd row seat back downwards.
  15. Remove the LH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  16. Remove the LH mid C-pillar zone bracket. See Bracket - Zone - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (6/7 Seat) (Remove and Replace) .
  17. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (6/7 Seat) (Remove and Replace) .
  18. Release the rear trunk puddle light lens from the LH side carpet, and then remove the lens from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Carefully pry from behind the carpet to release the lens.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Plastic trim tool

  19. Release the clips (x3) that attach the rear trunk puddle light to the LH side carpet, and then remove the light from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Press in the clips, and then lift from the back of the puddle light to release.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Pick Miniature Soft Grip, 90 degree tip, 6 in
