Steering Rack - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the front subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .
  2. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the steering rack to the front subframe assembly.

    167 N.m (123.2 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 21 mm socket
