Siren - Battery Backed - Remove And Replace: Removal

- Remove the underhood storage unit:
- Rear Wheel Drive Underhood Storage Unit (Remove And Install)
- Dual Motor Underhood Storage Unit (Remove And Install)
- Disconnect the harness from battery coolant pump 2.NOTE: Battery coolant pump 2 is on the LH side of the vehicle.
- Slide the coolant pump and rubber isolator off of the bracket and set them aside.
- Remove the nut that secures the siren (torque 7 N.m).
- Maneuver the siren up past the coolant pump bracket, but do not completely remove the siren from the vehicle.CAUTION: At this point in the procedure, the siren harness is still connected.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the siren.
- Remove the siren from the vehicle.
