Tweeter Assembly - Front Door - LH (with Tether) - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Carefully release the clips (x2) and body hook that attach the LH front door tweeter assembly to the door trim panel and body, disconnect the connector, and then hang the assembly aside.
    NOTE:

    Release the tweeter assembly upwards to release the clips.

    NOTE:

    The tether will still be connected.

    NOTE:

    Tethered units can be used to replaced non-tethered tweeters. However, if the vehicle is equipped with a tethered tweeter, then it must be replaced with a tethered unit in all instances.

  3. Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH - Remove And Install .
  4. Take note of the tether routing, and then unhook the tether to remove the LH front door tweeter assembly from the door assembly.
