Shroud - Lower - Steering Column - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the LH and RH middle A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Remove the LH and RH instrument panel end caps. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  5. Remove the phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Remove the IP service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Remove the touchscreen. See Touchscreen (Remove and Replace) .
  8. Remove the IP decor. See Decor - Instrument Panel - Main (Remove and Replace) .
  9. Remove the steering yoke. See STEERING YOKE/WHEEL (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  10. Remove the gap hider. See Gap Hider - Steering Column - Upper (Remove and Replace) .
  11. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the lower shroud to the steering column.
    NOTE: Slide the lower shroud towards the driver seat to release the datum.
