Actuator - Pedestrian Protection - LH - Remove and Replace: Install
- Install the nuts (x2) that attache the pyrotechnic actuator to the body, and then install the actuator to the vehicle.
6 N.m (4.4 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
- 1/4 in std ratchet
- Connect pyrotechnic actuator connector (X1).
- Install the wheel arch liner. See WHEEL ARCH LINER - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Connect the 12V power. See 12V/LV POWER (DISCONNECT AND CONNECT) .
- Install the underhood storage unit. See UNDERHOOD STORAGE UNIT (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
