Disconnect 12V Power: Connect

NOTE: Connect is reverse of disconnect, except for the following:

Upon reconnecting 12V power, the vehicle touchscreen displays the "Calibration Needed" alert.

  1. Clear the area around and remove any obstacles near the rear doors in preparation to calibrate the doors.
WARNING: Stay clear of the rear doors during the calibration routine. Calibration mode overrides the safety sensors and the doors will not stop for any obstacles in their path.
  2. Touch and hold the CALIBRATE  button on the Model X touchscreen until the rear doors have been fully calibrated, close completely, and the message "CALIBRATION COMPLETE" is displayed.
NOTE: During calibration, the lower doors open all the way out, the upper doors move all the way down, and then the lower doors close. Both rear doors cycle through the calibration routine simultaneously, taking less than 1 minute to complete.
NOTE: Continue to hold the Calibrate  button for an additional 5 seconds after the calibration routine is complete.
