Ride Height - Adjust: Setup

  1. Open the driver's door and lower the window.
  2. Remove heavy objects from the vehicle.
  3. Make sure that turn and slip plates are locked.

  4. Position the vehicle onto the alignment rack.
  5. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect) .
  6. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock .
  7. Exit the vehicle, and then place wheel chocks at both sides of the LH rear wheel.
  8. Raise the vehicle to a comfortable working height. See Raise Vehicle - 4 Post Lift .
  9. Set the tire machine pressures to match those specified for the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar.

  10. Install inflation hoses onto all four wheels so that tire pressures can be set automatically.
  11. Make sure that the chassis height measurement tool is zeroed at 51 mm, and adjust if necessary.

  12. Remove the tire pressure hoses from the valve stems, and then reinstall the valve stem caps.
  13. Depending upon the vehicle build date, go to the appropriate section.
