Steering Wheel - Remove And Replace: Installation

  1. Remove the tape from the clockspring.
  2. Match the elongated splines with the marks that were made to the steering column, and then install the new steering wheel.
    NOTE: When performed correctly, toe adjustment is not necessary.

  3. Use a 10 mm hex socket to install a new patch bolt that secures the steering wheel to the column (torque 80 N.m).

  4. Install the driver's air bag Air Bag - Driver's (Remove And Replace) .
