Wiper Motor Assembly - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Disconnect 12V power DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
  2. Remove the cowl screen panel Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove And Replace) .
  3. Pull the HVAC duct forward to remove it from the vehicle.

  4. Release the front bolts (x2) that secure the fuse box bracket to the body (torque 7 N.m).

  5. Release the rear bolt that secures the fuse box bracket to the body (torque 5 N.m).

  6. Unclip the fusebox harness from the rear of the fuse box.
  7. Unclip the fusebox harness from the 12V battery tiedown.
  8. Gently pull the fusebox forward.
  9. Release the bolts that secure the wiper motor to the body (torque 9 N.m), but do not remove the motor at this time.

  10. Gently pull the wiper motor forward and disconnect the low voltage harness.
    CAUTION: Do not damage the fusebox.

  11. Remove the wiper motor from the vehicle.
