Steering Rack (LHD) (3rd Generation) - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the front subframe assembly. See SUBFRAME ASSEMBLY - FRONT - 2ND GENERATION (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
  2. Remove the front stabar assembly from the subframe.

  3. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the steering gear assembly to the front subframe.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 21 mm socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
