12V Positive Jump Post - Remove And Replace: Removal
- If the vehicle has a 1st generation front fascia applique (nosecone), remove the front underhood apron Underhood Apron - Front (Remove And Replace)
. If the vehicle has a 2nd generation front fascia applique (nosecone), remove the applique Applique - Fascia - Front - 2nd Generation (Remove And Install)
.
- Disconnect 12V power. See DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
- Check for voltage at the jump post. Ensure the voltage is 0V.
- Release the nut that secures the electrical harness to the jump post (torque 6 N.m).

- Release the nuts (x2) that secure the jump post to the bumper (torque 3 N.m).

- Remove the jump post from the vehicle.
