TPMS - Sensor ID Tool Learn: Procedure
- Review the TPMS service tool profile.
- Connect to the vehicle with Toolbox 3.0. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
- In Toolbox, select the Actions tab, and search for "TPMS Sensor Learn".
- Select the PROC_TPMS_X_TPMS-SENSOR-LEARN Action.
- Use the TPMS service tool to read and record the wheel sensors in the order displayed on the tool's screen.
- In Toolbox, enter the TPMS sensor ID for each wheel from the TPMS Tool into the TPMS Sensor Learn ID form.
- When the Sensor IDs for all 4 wheels have been entered into the Toolbox TPMS Sensor Learn ID form, click Run
.NOTE: Click the "X" at the top of the window after the routine is complete.
- On the touchscreen, select Vehicle Info and select Remove Speed Limit .
- Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox from the vehicle.
- Test drive the vehicle to at least 15 mph for a short distance to verify all four sensor values are displaying on the touchscreen.NOTE: Touch Controls > Service .NOTE: When the vehicle receives communication from the TPMS sensors with known IDs, it will quickly connect to them.NOTE: If the tire pressures do not populate, rescan each TPMS sensor and try again.
