Steering Rack (LHD RWD) (2nd Generation) - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the front subframe:
  2. Remove and discard the bolts (x3) that attach the steering rack assembly to the subframe (torque 175 N.m).
    CAUTION: Replace all patchbolt(s).
    NOTE: Record the positions of any shims.
