Tuner - FM/HD/XM - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the FM/HD tuner into the liftgate, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the tuner to the liftgate.

    NaN N.m (NaN ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm socket

  2. Connect the RH liftgate harness electrical connector on the RH side of the FM/HD tuner.

  3. Connect the RH liftgate harness electrical connector on the LH side of the FM/HD tuner.

  4. Connect the coax connector on the tuner harness to the FM/HD tuner.

  5. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
  7. In Toolbox, click the Actions  tab, and then type "Tuner" in the search field.
  8. Click the play button next to PING-BASH_TUNER  , and then click Run  .
  9. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
