Module - Battery Controller - Remove And Replace: Install

- Position the battery controller module into the vehicle.
- Fasten the clip that attaches the harness to the battery controller module.
- Connect the electrical connectors (x5) to the battery controller module.
- Fasten the clip that attaches the harness to the battery controller module.
- Install the bolt that attaches the battery controller module ground cable to the vehicle.
9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- External Torx E10 5-Lobe
- Install the bolt and nut that attach the battery controller module to the vehicle and tilt the module for access.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- 6 in extension
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Install the bolts and nut that attach the LH V-brace to the vehicle.
18 Nm (13.3 lbs-ft)
9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- 4 in extension
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Install the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen - Remove And Replace .
- Install the LH wiper arm. See Wiper Arm - LH - Remove And Replace .
- Install the LH shock tower cover. See Cover - Shock Tower - LH - Remove And Replace .
- Install the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH - Remove And Replace .
- Repeat step 9 through step 11 on the RH side of the vehicle.
- Connect LV power. See LV Power - Disconnect And Connect .
- Perform a software reinstall. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen or Firmware Reinstall - Toolbox .
- Adjust the headlights. See Headlights - Adjust - NA (Tool Method) or Headlights - Adjust (Global) (Tool Method) .
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
