Harness - Front End Module (2nd Generation) - Remove and Replace: Removal

NOTE: This procedure is for vehicles built after April 24, 2019.
  1. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .
  2. Disconnect the RH front crash rail electrical connector.

  3. Release the edge clip using a clip prytool, and then disconnect the RH side hood actuator electrical connector.

  4. Disconnect the RH radiator actuator electrical connector using a small flat head screwdriver.

  5. Disconnect the homelink module electrical connector with a small flat head screwdriver.

  6. Disconnect the LH accelerator sensor electrical connector using a small flat head screwdriver. Repeat this step for the RH accelerator sensor.

  7. Disconnect the LH horn electrical connectors. Repeat this step for the RH horn.

  8. Disconnect the hood latch switch electrical connector.

  9. Release the edge clip using a clip prytool, and then disconnect the LH side hood actuator electrical connector.

  10. Disconnect the LH radiator actuator electrical connector using a small flat head screwdriver.

  11. Disconnect the front radar electrical connector using a small flat head screwdriver.

  12. Disconnect the front end module harness electrical connector located on the LH side of the vehicle.

  13. Release the clips (x5) that attach the harness to the front end module.

  14. Feed the harness between the front end module assembly and the front bumper beam, and then remove the harness from the vehicle.
