Gaskets - Antistatic - Autopilot ECU - Install: Remove

  1. Disconnect 12V power. See DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
  2. Remove the glove box. See Glove Box (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Prepare the ESD mat, wrist strap, and ground/circuit tester. Refer to TN-14-92-003 TECH NOTE: ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE TOOLING "Electrostatic Discharge Tooling".
    CAUTION: Carefully follow the instructions in TN-14-92-003 to avoid damaging the Autopilot ECU.
  4. Without executing any Toolbox routines, remove the Autopilot ECU and place it on the ESD mat. See MODULE - AUTOPILOT - ECU - 2ND GENERATION (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
