EVAP Canister Vent Valve Circuit Check

  1. With ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF", connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1).

    Special Tool 

    1. SUZUKI scan tool (SUZUKI-SDT)

  2. Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
  3. Select "Active Test" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.
  4. Use SUZUKI scan tool to check that operating sound of EVAP canister vent valve (1) is heard only when EVAP canister vent valve is switched between "Open" and "Close".

    If operating sound of EVAP canister vent valve is heard, EVAP canister vent valve and its circuit are in good condition. If operating sound of EVAP canister vent valve is not heard, check EVAP canister vent valve, wire harness and connections.
