DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "ESP® System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ESP® SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check 
  1. Perform DTC CHECK .

Is there DTC(s) other than C1084, C1085 or C1097? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Go to Step 3.
3  DTC check for P/S system 
  1. Check DTC for P/S control module.

Is there DTC(s) other than C1084, C1085 or C1097? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Substitute a known-good P/S control module and recheck DTC, see P/S CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Substitute a known-good ESP® control module if DTC is still detected, see ESP® HYDRAULIC UNIT/CONTROL MODULE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
