Line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit check
- Turn off ignition switch and disconnect TCM and solenoid connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to TCM and solenoid connectors.
- If connections are OK, check that line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit (A4) is as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of line pressure control solenoid valve circuit is less than 1 Ω.
- Insulation resistance of line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit is infinity between solenoid connector and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit terminal and each terminal at solenoid connector.
- Circuit voltage of line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit 0 - 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.

Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

- Check resistance of line pressure control solenoid valve. See Solenoid Valve On-Vehicle Inspection
Is it in good condition? |
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck. |
Replace line pressure control solenoid valve (valve body assembly). |
