Was "CVT System Check" performed? |
Go to Step 2. |
Go to CVT SYSTEM CHECK . |

Sensor power supply check
- Turn off ignition switch and disconnect solenoid connector.
- Check for proper terminal connection to solenoid connector.
- If connections are OK, turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Check that voltage between sensor power supply circuit (B1) and vehicle body ground is 5 V.
Is it in good condition? |
Go to Step 3. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

Secondary pressure sensor signal circuit and ground circuit check
- Turn off ignition switch and disconnect connectors from solenoid connector and TCM.
- Check for proper terminal connection to solenoid connector and TCM connectors.
- If connections are OK, check that secondary pressure sensor circuit (A2) and sensor ground circuit (B2) are as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of secondary pressure sensor signal circuit and ground circuit is less than 1 Ω.
- Insulation resistance of secondary pressure sensor signal circuit is infinity between solenoid connector and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between secondary pressure sensor signal circuit terminal and each terminal at solenoid connector.
- Circuit voltage of secondary pressure sensor signal circuit and sensor ground circuit is 0 - 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 4. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

Secondary pressure sensor check
- Connect solenoid connector and TCM connectors.
- Check voltage between connector terminal "C10-15" and vehicle body ground. See Inspection of TCM and Its Circuits
Is it in good condition? |
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck. |
Replace secondary pressure sensor (valve body assembly). |
