DTC Troubleshooting

DTC P0602 TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  DTC recheck 
  1. Clear DTC. See DTC Clearance 
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure, and check DTC.

Is DTC P0602 still detected? 		 Go to Step 2. Check for intermittent trouble. See INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTION INSPECTION
2  TCM reprogramming check 
Was reprogramming of TCM executed? 		 Execute reprogramming of TCM correctly once again. Go to Step 3.
3  TCM power and ground circuit check 
  1. Check TCM power and ground circuit. See TCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check 

Is it in good condition? 		 Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck. Repair or replace defective wire harness.
