Trunk Lid Opener Function of Keyless Start System (Sedan)

NOTE:

Use of SUZUKI scan tool makes it easy to check whether a faulty condition is on the input side or output side of BCM. For checking procedure, refer to "DIAGNOSIS USING OUTPUT TEST FUNCTION OF SUZUKI SCAN TOOL " under SCAN TOOL DATA .
Check each part in the order from the top of the following list.

TRUNK LID OPENER FUNCTION OF KEYLESS START SYSTEM (SEDAN) DIAGNOSIS CHART

Condition	Possible Cause	Action
Trunk lid can not be opened by trunk lid request switch	Circuit fuse(s) blown	Replace fuse(s) and check for short circuit .
	Remote controller battery dead	Replace battery .
	Remote controller faulty	Check remote controller for operation referring to REMOTE CONTROLLER INSPECTION .
	Request switch faulty	Check request switch for operation referring to FRONT DOOR (DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE), REAR END DOOR/TRUNK LID REQUEST SWITCH INSPECTION .
	Trunk lid opener actuator faulty	Check trunk lid opener actuator operation referring to POWER DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION .
	Wiring or grounding faulty	Repair circuit .
	Antennas or keyless start control module faulty	Check input and output signals of keyless start control module referring to INSPECTION OF KEYLESS START CONTROL MODULE AND ITS CIRCUITS .
	BCM faulty	Check input and output signal of BCM referring to INSPECTION OF BCM AND ITS CIRCUITS .
