Generator field coil monitor signal circuit check
- Turn OFF ignition switch and connectors from generator and ECM.
- Check for proper terminal connection to generator connector and ECM connectors.
- If connections are OK, check that generator field coil monitor signal circuit (B1) is as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of generator field coil monitor signal circuit is less than 3 Ω.
- Insulation resistance between generator field coil monitor signal circuit and vehicle body ground is infinity.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between generator field coil monitor signal circuit terminal and each terminal at generator connector.
- Circuit voltage of generator field coil monitor signal circuit is 0 - 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.

Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

Is DTC P0625 or P0626 still detected? |
Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. |
