Auto-Locking (Safety Lock)

The remote keyless entry system has an automatic locking feature. If the doors are unlocked with the remote transmitter while the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) is armed, the doors are automatically relocked after 30 seconds unless any of the following events occurs:

• The door is opened.
• The ignition switch is turned ON.
• The rear deck lid is opened.
• The hood is opened.
