DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE: Check to make sure that the following conditions are satisfied when using this "DTC Confirmation Procedure".
  • The following DTCs are not detected: DTCs related to radiator cooling fan relay (other than R0481)
  1. With ignition switch turned OFF, connect scan tool.
  2. Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC by using scan tool.
  3. Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature.
  4. Keep engine at 2000 RPM or more until engine coolant temperature reaches 110 °C (230 °F) or more.
  5. Check DTC.
