- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
- Disconnect the EGR solenoid connector.
- Connect a test light between the EGR connector terminal 2 and the battery positive.
Is the test light ON? |

Go to Step 4. |

- Repair the wire or the connector terminal between the EGR connector terminal 2 and the ECM connector terminal A11 as needed.
- Using the scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Perform an ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD II) SYSTEM CHECK

- Connect a test light between the EGR connector terminal 3 and the ECM connector terminal A9.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
