(1) Tighten bolts in sequence. See Fig 1.
(2) Tighten bolts 1-10 to 30 Ft Lbs. (40 N.m).
(3) Loosen bolts 1-10 until tightening torque is reduced to 0 (Zero) in reverse order of tightening.
(4) Same as step 1; tighten bolts 1-10 to 30 Ft. Lbs. (40 N.m).
(5) Same as step 1; tighten bolts 1-10 to 30 Ft Lbs. (40 N.m).
(6) Tighten bolts 11-22 to 18 Ft. Lbs. (25 N.m). Tighten bolts 11-22 to 43 Ft. Lbs (58 N.m).
(7) Tighten bolts in sequence. See Fig 2.
(8) Tighten all bolts to 39 Ft. Lbs. (53 N.m).
(9) Retighten bolts to 61 Ft. Lbs. (84 N.m).
(10) Loosen all bolts until tightening torque is reduced to 0 according to tightening sequence.
(11) Tighten all bolts to 39 Ft. Lbs. (53 N.m).
(12) Retighten bolts to 77 Ft. Lbs. (105 N.m).
(13) Hex hole bolt (# 3 in tightening sequence graphic). Tighten bolt to 97 INCH Lbs. (11 N.m).
(14) Tighten bolt/nut marked (a) first. See Fig 4.
(15) Tighten bolts in sequence. Tighten in increments evenly among bolts. Repeat tightening sequence 2 or 3 times before they are tightened to specified torque. See Fig 3.
(16) For engine mounting components, see Fig 5 and Fig 6 .
(17) For propeller shaft tightening specifications, see Fig 7.
(18) Retighten them by turning additional 45°.
