DTC Confirmation Test

Ensure intake air temperature is 14°F (-10°C) or more, vehicle is at an altitude of 6650 feet or below, and barometric pressure is 72 kPa or more. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position, Connect SUZUKI scan tool or equivalent to DLC. See Figure. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Drive vehicle at 30 MPH or more for 10 minutes or more. Release accelerator pedal, keep vehicle coasting and stop vehicle. Let engine idle for one minute. Using scan tool, check for current or pending DTC. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC P0107 resets, see DIAGNOSIS & REPAIR PROCEDURE .
