DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition off, connect scan tool and turn ignition on. Clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Ensure fuel tank is 1/4-3/4 full. Drive vehicle at speeds of about 10-30 MPH under all driving conditions (stop and go, high and low load, or rapid acceleration and deceleration) for 5 minutes. Stop vehicle. With ignition on, check for DTC P0450. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
