Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
NOTE:
DTCs cannot be cleared by disconnecting EBCM (ABS actuator assembly), battery or turning ignition switch to LOCK position.
- Ensure ignition is off. Connect jumper wire between ground terminal and diagnosis switch terminal on diagnostic connector. See Figure . Turn ignition on. Disconnect and reconnect jumper wire at ground terminal at least 5 times within 10 seconds. Turn ignition off.
- Test drive vehicle. Recheck for DTCs. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . Ensure only DTC 12 is displayed.
