Engine Control Module (PCM)

TCM sends the following signals to the PCM:

• Torque reduction signal for softer upshifts and downshifts.
• Transmission range switch signal to indicate gear selector position. PCM uses this signal to modify engine control strategy.
• Serial data providing malfunction information.
