TP Sensor Inspection (X-90)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug TP sensor connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals of TP sensor connector. See THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. See Figure or Figure . If idle switch check is not within specification, adjust TP sensor installation angle. Replace TP sensor if it cannot be adjusted to specification.
