DTC P0113 - Intake Air Temp. (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Input

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect IAT sensor harness connector. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and Light Blue wire of connector. If reading is 4-5.25 volts, go to next step. If reading is not as specified, check Light Blue wire for an open or short to power. Check for poor PCM harness connection. Repair as necessary. If wire and connections are okay, replace PCM. Retest system.
  2. Turn ignition off. Using a fused jumper wire, connect IAT sensor connector terminals together. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and Light Blue wire of IAT sensor connector. If reading is 0.15 volt or greater, go to next step. If reading is less than 0.15 volt, check IAT sensor operation following procedure in DTC P0112 step 2). Repair as necessary. If IAT sensor is okay, check for an intermittent problem. See TESTS W/O CODES article.
  3. Check for an open in Gray/Yellow wire between IAT sensor and PCM. Repair as necessary. If wire is okay, replace PCM. Retest system.
