Removal & Installation

  1. Ensure engine is cool before removing HO2S No. 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove exhaust manifold cover. Unplug HO2S harness connector. Remove HO2S from manifold.
  2. To install HO2S, coat threads with anti-seize compound. Tighten HO2S to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect negative battery cable. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. After installing HO2S, start engine and check for exhaust leaks.
